The Firecracker 50 is a lightly-supported, free public ride hosted by Great Plains Bicycling Club in conjunction with Seward’s July 4th activities. Lightly supported means that the Great Plains Bicycling Club provide a SAG support station with water and a limited selection of snack foods. The road route is entirely on paved roads between Seward and the towns of Brainard and Dwight. Distance options are 22 and 51 miles (or a distance in-between if you choose to turn around early!). A 55-mile gravel route is also available.

Starting from the Living Word Lutheran church parking lot.
